Our names are Sarah Haff, Sarah King, Lexi Montgomery, and Rachel Miller. The one thing we all have in common is that we all love chinese food.

The experiment we are going to do is to test which out of four different liquids will be the most dense.

Science_graph_2.jpgWe learned when doing this lab the different densities of water, oil, soap, and alcohol. We also learned that you have to be careful when taking your measurments, if your not careful you could get a tottaly different answer. When you measure your liquid, you have to keep in mind the miniscus.

Boilng Point: The temperature at which a liquid boils and becomes a gas.
Vaporization: The change of state from a liquid to a gas ; includes boiling and evaporation
Boiling: Vaporization that occurs throughout a liquid

Boiling Point: The point at which a liquid is at a certain temperature and becomes a gas. This relates to our experiment because, we had to find the temperature at which the water started to boil. Vaporization: When a liquid turns into a gas. This relates to our liquid, because our water boiled and we watched it turn into a gas.Boiling: Boiling is when the liquid is at a certain temperature, and starts tto boil. This relates to our experiment because the water started to boil, and started to vaporize.
